FAQ'S
BYOP
First of all, “B.Y.O.P” paint doesn’t mean “FREE” paint! You’ve got to purchase your paint somewhere. Fields that work with Professional Games Producers charge from $50 to $65 a case; paint that normally would cost you between $35 - $45 in any store. We are not talking about cheap white box, or old discount paint that’s been sitting on a shelf at the mass market retail store, but rather higher-end field paint or tournament level. (The essence of this game is still hitting what you aim at and having the ball break.) Considering there’s only a $10 or $15 difference, which paint would you rather shoot? Yeah, you want the good stuff, of course, but why is there any markup at all?
Look at the fields that require field-paint only. Adventure Beach, Bear Claw and Paintball Charleston are great examples. The profits made on paint go right back into the field and the amenities that the players enjoy. This doesn’t mean pallet bunkers (and those of you that have played these fields know exactly what I’m talking about). So, are you getting more bang for your buck? At these events the fields, in conjunction with Professional Game Producers, additionally offer:
· Player accommodations such as hot food instead of just snacks, or hot showers and real bathrooms
· On-field forts and bunkers (these structures don’t just happen, but take time, effort, money and an investment in the future)
· Specialized, game-oriented props
· Exclusive, iron-on patches designed specifically for each game
· Additional, laminated “Special Role” tags, beside regular player IDs
· Added attractions like pyrotechnic shows, which create more than just a game, but rather an event. These help the players to immerse themselves into what a scenario paintball game should be.
· Quality trophies and awards specific to the event (not generic certificates)
· In most cases, a very generous prize package (and not all prizes are donated!)
· Special promotions like: register a group of 10 or more, receive a free case of paint; parents registering with a child, receive a free case of paint; active-duty military, receive a free case of paint.
Every great field in the country, Skirmish, EMR, Challenge Park, SC Village, Wayne’s World, Bear Claw PB, Paintball Charleston, and dozens more, are considered “great” because they give back to their players in many ways.
The bottom line seems to be that in life, as in scenario ball, you get what you pay for.

Corporate Events
Are you looking to help turn that loose knit team of office workers into a well tuned corporate assault force - or perhaps reward your workers and managers with a day on the boss to blow off a little steam - well paintball is well suited as it helps the adrenaline go up and down, and compels the unsure to face and concur a few fears - not to mention the teamwork & communications required to play paintball effectively.
A large group twenty should schedule at least a week in advance, and make sure to let us know what time you will be there. It takes a little time to prepare the rental equipment, so please don't surprise us. We suggest you arrive at least by 9:00am to get signed in, equipped, briefed on the safety rules and maybe get a game or two in before the smaller groups and regulars arrive. This will give your group confidence and a little experience. Unless special arrangement are made, we usually try to mix the large groups with everyone else while spreading out the experienced players across both teams. Most groups resist this a little to start - and we understand - but to be honest - the more, the merrier. So plan on mixing it up by noon. If at noon you really want to focus on team building and want to keep your private group private, we can accommodate you.
Great Group Games
Total Elimination - a good warm up game - The City Streets Objective : totally eliminate the other team. Last team standing at the end of 10 to 15 minutes wins.
Two Flag - Objective: either go get their flag and bring it back and hang it on your flag at the other end of the city. First team to hand their opponents flag wins.
HINT : dont bunch up, do cover the steet and wtach out for the church sniper, don't leave defenders behind to "guard the flag", when moving and defending use crossfire for effect.
How far are you from Myrtle Beach
The field is about a 40 minute drive from downtown Myrtle Beach. Take Hwy 501 west to Hwy 31 north to Hwy 9 west to hwy 905 north.
